Package: makedev
Version: 2.3.1-75
Followup-For: Bug #278237

Well... I, too did encounter a problem with some 'ub' devices not existing,
when they sort-of kind-of needed to exist. So, I searched the google db.

Upon what I found, I'd tried 'mknod' with the 125 major number (based upon
info from the web - accidental "misinformation" it is, apparently - just
"FYI").

125 didn't work.

Then, I found this nicely helpful page:
  http://kerneltrap.org/node/4538

In summary: According to one user's 'devfs' settings, and based upon my own
experience, after having read that page (it is working, here, now) it appears
that the correct major number (for the 'ub' block devices) is, in fact: 180

"It's all good" now, here.

So, I just wanted to pass the word along, about this, for my own 2 cents in
this whole groovy "Debian users/maintainers/folks experience" and
... that's the end of it.

Thank you.
