If you're a C programmer, you'll probably find that the bug is simply that
PREFDATETIME is somehow initialized to 0 and never set to the right
value. Feel free to check out the upstream re-alpine source and beat me to
the punch of fixing the issue.
Either way, the bug report is helpful and I'll get on identifying the
issue as time permits.
