Package: openssl Version: 0.9.7e-3 Severity: wishlist Hi,
OpenSSL is currently built with "-O3 -fomit-frame-pointer". This makes it completely impossible on most platforms to get stack traces when something goes wrong (in my case, Valgrind hits). A version built with only "-g" (in a separate package, like libc6) would be very useful. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8.1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages openssl depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7e-3 SSL shared libraries -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
