What's in your /etc/pam.d/gdm3?
What gdm version did it last work in? Did you try it in 3.6.0-1 or
3.6.1-1, or are you comparing with 3.4.1-4?
Did you upgrade anything else at the same time you upgraded gdm3?
(gnome-keyring, gnome-shell, etc.)
