Hi Dmitrijs, thank you for your bug report. I am going to wait for python3.3 to be introduced to unstable before I make any changes on how the hivex package is built.
Could you please re-submit only the part of your patch that is relevant to fixing the FTBFS -- in a readable form and based upon the current version (1.3.6-3) of the hivex pacakge? Thank you.
