Hi, traceroute6 works well on a bunch of different systems around here.
The strace shows that bind() returns EINVAL where it should return 0 instead, so it's not traceroute's fault, but a local problem. I've noticed that traceroute6 fails with write(3, "traceroute6: icmp socket: Operat"..., 50traceroute6: icmp socket: Operation not permitted when being straced by a user, but works as expected without strace or root running strace traceroute6.
