Package: cups Version: 1.4.4-7+squeeze1 When using a network printer, lpd and Jetdirect, there is a 10 second delay between jobs. This is a known issue in cups 1.4.4 and below, reported in many places: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/625284. I recommend backporting a more recent version of cups to squeeze. I am currently using 1.5.3 without issue.
I am using Debian Squeeze, kernel 2.3.32-5-kirkwood on armel architecture.
