Thanks Moritz for the request. I was indeed hoping for it to be auto-unblocked due do the associated RC bug. It's a new upstream release but a stable maintenance release that we definitely want in wheezy. IMO the upstream maintenance rules are sane enough (and there's a big test suite) that we should be able to handle such updates much like PostgreSQL even after the release.
