Hi Boris, I do not see any reasons for your request. Eimerfem is maintained under Debian-Science team. I think, you can just add yourself as an uploader (CC-ing Sylvestre) and contribute under that roof.
I am also maintaining some packages, where Adam is in uploaders and I do not see any reasons to remove him from this list, even if he is not active at this time.
