Package: kde-window-manager Version: 4:4.8.4-3 Severity: normal Hardware: ATI Mobility X700 Driver: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV410
Steps to reproduce: (KWIN Effects + Fade is enabled by default) 1. Have at least two simple applications in your taskbar. 2. Press Alt+Tab two times. (Select the exact same application again.) 3. The application often doesn't refresh and the Window Switcher is painted over it. Note: This bug tends to happen less, the more applications you have open. Workaround #1: 1. Disable Fade Effect. (Note: I currently cannot disable Fade Effect because I'm using the Fade Effect as a work around for Debian bug #690428 / KDE Bug# 295254 -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (1001, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-rt-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kde-window-manager depends on: ii kde-runtime 4:4.8.4-1 ii kde-style-oxygen 4:4.8.4-3 ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 8.0.4-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libkactivities6 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkcmutils4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkdeclarative5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkdecorations4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkdecore5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkdeui5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkephal4abi1 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkio5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libknewstuff3-4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkwineffects1abi3 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkwinglutils1 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkworkspace4abi1 4:4.8.4-3 ii libplasma3 4:4.8.4-3 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt4-declarative 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt4-script 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-2 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libstdc++6 4.7.1-7 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxcomposite1 1:0.4.3-2 ii libxcursor1 1:1.1.13-1 ii libxdamage1 1:1.1.3-2 ii libxext6 2:1.3.1-2 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0-4 ii libxrandr2 2:1.3.2-2 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.7-1 ii perl 5.14.2-14 kde-window-manager recommends no packages. kde-window-manager suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
