My preference would still be the initial suggestion; moving distort, ripples and slidescreen to -data-extra. I'd also say the coolness of these three is up for discussion. Slidescreen is (c) 1992 (ok, many others are too); ripples and distort remind me of the 'lens' saver in Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95. Microsoft Plus! did not make Windows 95 cool :) What about moving some good ones from -data-extra to -data to compensate?
