While some users may track the latest versions on unstable and/or
CRAN, some others may expect wheezy=testing=stable_soon to provide a
coherent set of tools including this package for some years. If 798-1
cannot be patched to provide something useful for them, please
consider asking the release team for removal of the package from
testing [1] and tagging this bug as fixed, so that bug squashers do
not spend time on it. Once the package is actually removed from
testing, I believe that you may close this bug safely.
