Package: git Version: 1:1.7.10.4-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these lines *** I can't access my repository at <https://code.google.com/p/bombz/> with git on my laptop, eg git clone or git push; I get the error message: error: RPC failed; result=51, HTTP code = 0 fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly My desktop PC has the same version of git and identical contents of ~/.netrc, ~/.gitconfig and .git/config for the affected project, but that can access the repository OK. So the problem does't seem to be with the repo, and perhaps is caused by something else git depends on which is different on my laptop and desktop, but I can't find what result=51 means. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.5-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git depends on: ii git-man 1:1.7.10.4-1 ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.28.0-1 ii liberror-perl 0.17-1 ii libexpat1 2.1.0-1 ii perl-modules 5.14.2-14 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages git recommends: ii less 444-4 ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:6.0p1-3 ii patch 2.6.1-3 ii rsync 3.0.9-3 Versions of packages git suggests: ii gettext-base 0.18.1.1-9 pn git-arch <none> pn git-cvs <none> pn git-daemon-run | git-daemon-sysvinit <none> pn git-doc <none> pn git-el <none> pn git-email <none> pn git-gui <none> pn git-svn <none> pn gitk <none> pn gitweb <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
