I can't access my repository at <https://code.google.com/p/bombz/> with
git on my laptop, eg git clone or git push; I get the error message:

error: RPC failed; result=51, HTTP code = 0
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

My desktop PC has the same version of git and identical contents of
~/.netrc, ~/.gitconfig and .git/config for the affected project, but
that can access the repository OK. So the problem does't seem to be with
the repo, and perhaps is caused by something else git depends on which
is different on my laptop and desktop, but I can't find what result=51
means.
