Package: prosody Version: 0.7.0-1squeeze1 Severity: normal I recently renewed my SSL certificates, and replaced the corresponding files in /etc/ssl/certs. However, until I restarted Prosody, it continued using the old certificates. Please consider checking the results of "stat" on the SSL certificates and automatically reloading them if changed.
If the overhead of an extra stat call per connection seems potentially too much for high-volume servers, Prosody could perhaps have an option to disable it, with the caveat that it'll need restarting when the certificates change. However, I'd suggest defaulting to autodetection for convenience.
