With the auctex in xemacs21 2005.01.18-1, (re)formatting in TeX documents does not work. Some error mentioning "overlays-at" is displayed. Upgrading using the auctex from XEmacs' experimental repository (auctex version 1.44) seems to resolve this issue. You may want to include this new version of auctex in the Debian xemacs21 package...
