The kernel for today's i386 daily netinst image is now at 3.2.0-4-486. After commenting out the lines added to mountmedia for beta-2 the detection of firmware proceeds as normal (logical partitions are searched) and it is put in /lib/firmware when found. As far as I can see #684293 is no longer with us. Regards, Brian. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
