Can you please try once more with the packages at
deb http://people.debian.org/~preining/TeX/ unstable/
(same for deb-src) which does the same but in addition calls the
rm -f ....ucf-new
etc. Nothing else changed.
I am planing to upload these packages soon, either tomorrow morning
or on Saturday.
