I found the svn branch and am building it as we speak! (For anyone else interested.... see http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/pkg-glibc/glibc-package/branches/eglibc-2.16/ or svn://svn.debian.org/pkg-glibc/glibc-package/branches/eglibc-2.16/ and run "fakeroot debian/rules get-orig-source" to get the upstream sources.)
