Imagine exe2 is linked to libpolyorb2 exe3 is linked to libpolyorb3 Breaks/Replace would unexpectedly make those executables not coinstallable. I think this is bad. From http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-sharedlibs.html#s-sharedlibs-support-files: If your package contains files whose names do not change with each change in the library shared object version, you must not put them in the shared library package. Otherwise, several versions of the shared library cannot be installed at the same time without filename clashes, making upgrades and transitions unnecessarily difficult. >From its content, the polyorb the manpage has nothing to do in libpolyorb[soversion]: /usr/share/man >From its content, I would advice libpolyorb-doc: /usr/share/man or, easyer to find: libpolyorb-doc: /usr/share/doc/libpolyorb-doc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
