Hi, I think you may be happy with KDE 4.8.4 (testing version), as the information windows (and the info panel as well) include more complete : duration, size, mime type, etc. are now included.
Could you please give a try to KDE 4.8.4 and confirm this, so I can close the bug ? If there is any information missing, I could report it to upstream.
