Hi Dmitry, I can reproduce this bug quite easily. I started the program from a terminal window. When the program gets frozen this text appears on the terminal :
SystemError: null argument to internal routine I could not stop the program via the GUI and not with control-c on the terminal. Using "kill <pid>" does kill the program. In my opinion, it is obvious that the user of a program "must" be able to close the program properly without the need for the kill command, even when this "must" may not be explictly mentioned in debian-policy. With your permission I would like to set the severity of this bug to "serious".
