I tried to address this problem with a very simple patch, however I was unable to test it in a chroot, as it seems that debhelper doesn't support building with python3.3? even if i set the minimum python version to 3.3 (?).
Is the rmtree problem expected to be addressed in debian before python3.3 hits unstable? -SHawn
