Dear release team,
I wondered if it's possible to escalate this bug somehow, on the basis
that the wheezy kfreebsd installer is broken until this package update
is unblocked. See for example:

I think getting the kfreebsd installer working would help with the
detection and fixing of other bugs on that platform, so it seems worth
prioritising.
