Severity: wishlist

Hi,

it would be nice if the installer would check for a location for the to be downloaded file (e.g. somewhere in /var/cache), so that when the installer is run and the file is present, it would not download it.

this is nice for non-internet deployment situations, or, to e.g. speed up debian-live builds as downloading from wlfinger.com is really slow (and repeatedly downloading the same file again and again doesn't make sense when building images). in fact, just downloading the tarball is slower than building the complete image without it (and my buildd has good network connection).

Regards,
Daniel
