As I understand it (https://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/) the
Mozilla standalone calendar application Sunbird is dead. Instead only
the Thunderbird calendar extension Lightning exists.
When looking for this in Debian I find iceowl-extension which only
mentions being based on Sunbird. This is quite confusing for someone not
familiar with the Mozilla project and the ice* rebranding. (I wondered
whether Debian ships an outdated version of Sunbird. I hope I got it
correct now.)
For debian/control I propose to remove any mentioning of Sunbird and
replace it with Lightning. Since the package calendar-timezones is only
depended upon by iceowl-extension, but not by the iceowl package, I also
changed that part. Finally I tried to streamline the description.
Since I *guess* the remarks in
icedove/debian/iceowl-extension.README.Debian about security support are
obsolete, I just removed that file.
My patch is based on current git master. Feel free to use it in any form.
