Package: approx Version: 5.2-1 Severity: important Running approx-gc clears the entire pool hierarchy on my system. It seems very unlikely that this holds for every system, so are likely some preconditions. I guess that the causing precondition is that there are no package lists in the dists folders. This is a valid state. Consider the case where pdiffs are enabled. If all clients only ever download pdiffs, there never will be any package lists on the approx system.
