Thank you Julien. Rebuilt, retested briefly, and uploaded. There's one extra "inter-debdiff" - a change accumulated since the unblock request, which should be okay: * eventfd-making-it-thread-safe.patch - fix a missing - ioeventfd notifier (Closes: #680719) + ioeventfd notifier (Closes: #680719, #685314) ;) I'll ping this bug# again in a week or so. Now, the same set of changes plus a few more fixes (larger fixes which went into upstream qemu-kvm-1.1.0 but weren't included into qemu-1.1.0) ineeds to be applied to qemu package too. Plus, upstream accumulated a few more fixes (targeting qemu-1.1.2) - which updates other architectures (which are not relevant for qemu-kvm package which is x86-only). And even more, qemu package needs some extra love currently due to #684909, which needs changes in s390-tools package and needs firmware for ppc64. I waited for the current set of changes (in qemu-kvm) to be accepted/rejected before proceeding with the next stuff (qemu). Can you give some comments about all this? To sum it all up: - the same set of changes is needed for qemu too (plus more stuff already in qemu-kvm) - qemu needs 3 more firmware files for s390 and ppc64, which requires introduction of extra Arch-all packages - we've more fixes pending upstream for more bugs (mostly in non-x86 emulation), and upstream is about to release a next bugfix version, 1.1.2 Now I'll try to collect and upload it all at least to experimental, to see how it all goes.
