Hi, I checked uim (anthy) with im-config: * 0.17 (unstable) * 0.18~pre2 (minor updates on 0.18~pre1 in experimental)
Both works but with 0.17, it creates some delay before bringing blue systray icon showing up. with 0.18~pre2, it brings up blue systray icon immediately after desktop is displayed. 0.17 starts systray with sleep. This sleep was the work around to avoid this problem reported as http://bugs.debian.org/300486 . 0.18~pre2 does not have sleep since it is safe to do so (it is started after dbus.) Since this bug is fixed in root cause, please cansel bug report to upstream and when 0.18 is accepted for unstable/testing, please consider to close this bug.
