Package: postfix Version: 2.9.3-2.1 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. ---
I am using static alias maps to route all local mail to a central account: alias_maps = static:u...@example.com alias_database = static:u...@example.com The file /etc/aliases however exists. When newaliases is called it fails with: fls@fls-nb: ~ $ newaliases postalias: fatal: open u...@example.com: No such file or directory It seems like the newaliases command lacks a filter for the static lookup method. The problem with this is that package updates now fail, postfix is not getting started after updates and the package is marked unconfigured. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 testing-proposed-updates ftp.debian.org 500 testing security.debian.org 500 testing ftp.debian-multimedia.org 500 testing ftp.de.debian.org 500 stable dl.google.com --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ============================-+-============ libc6 (>= 2.11) | 2.13-35 libdb5.1 | 5.1.29-5 libsasl2-2 (>= 2.1.24) | 2.1.25.dfsg1-5 libsqlite3-0 (>= 3.5.9) | 3.7.13-1 libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0) | 1.0.1c-4 debconf (>= 0.5) | 1.5.44 OR debconf-2.0 | netbase | 5.0 adduser (>= 3.48) | 3.113+nmu3 dpkg (>= 1.8.3) | 1.16.8 lsb-base (>= 3.0-6) | 4.1+Debian7 ssl-cert | 1.0.31 cpio | 2.11-8 Recommends (Version) | Installed =========================-+-=========== python | 2.7.3~rc2-1 Suggests (Version) | Installed ===============================-+-=========== procmail | 3.22-20 postfix-mysql | postfix-pgsql | postfix-ldap | postfix-pcre | 2.9.3-2.1 sasl2-bin | libsasl2-modules | 2.1.25.dfsg1-5 dovecot-common | 1:2.1.7-2 resolvconf | postfix-cdb | mail-reader | ufw | postfix-doc | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
