It happens that the italian translation you got from the BTS had a broken encoding. It claims to be UTF-8 while it is ISO-8859-1. This is because of a (fixed since then) bug in the BTS. Attached is a fixed file. Would you mind updating the package again (it triggers annoying warnings in daily cronjobs on i18n.debian.org)?
