Package: xdg-utils
Version: 1.1.0~rc1+git20111210-6
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

xdg-email contains some special treatment for thunderbird (presumably since
[1]), which however breaks it completely: Instead of opening a composer,
Thunderbird just shows an error message:
"An error occurred while creating a message compose window."
The parameters passed to Thunderbrid look completely bogus:

XDG_UTILS_DEBUG_LEVEL=10 xdg-email em@ai.l
Running /home/r/bin/thunderbird/thunderbird -compose "to='-e
"em@ai.l",',cc='-e',bcc='-e',attachment='-e'"

Taking a guess, I simply changed the "/bin/sh" at the top of the xdg-email
script to "/bin/bash" - which fixed everything. So, please do that in the
package as well.

Kind regards,
Ralf
