Since I worked on it just yesterday, I'll just point on that the tip of
the repository works with pigeonhole 0.3.1 while dovecot 2.1.7 has 0.3.0
so you need to use this revision to get the code working for our version
of dovecot:
hg clone http://hg.rename-it.nl/pigeonhole-0.3-sieve-extprograms -r
058de395713a
(this version doesn't allow to use the command as test but only as action).
