Package: pnp4nagios-web Version: 0.6.16-1 Severity: wishlist
Hi. This is (if at all) just a cosmetic issue: Currently status-header.ssi is placed at /usr/share/doc/pnp4nagios/examples/ssi/status-header.ssi Now at one side this is ok,... because it's just an example of what can be done with the "status-header" feature of Nagios/icinga. On the other side... likely no one will ever modify this and use his own version. So I guess most people do about the following (using Apache and Icinga as examples) to enable it: Alias /icinga-cgi-url-path/ssi/status-header.ssi /usr/share/doc/pnp4nagios/examples/ssi/status-header.ssi Well, I can't help but that seems ugly... because status-header.ssi is like executable code... and that should not be in /usr/share/doc/ As said I'm not even sure wether this is really better/cleaner... but what do you think about moving that into /usr/share/pnp4nagios/ssi ? Definitely it would be wrong to place them in /usr/share/icinga/htdocs/ssi/ or it's nagios counterpart! Cheers, Chris: btw: Is it by intention, that you put some of the docs from pnp4nagios-web into /usr/share/doc/pnp4nagios/ ? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
