Well, why don't you say "creating it". Allowing use of questionable username. Adding system user `Slmodemd' (UID 105) ... Adding new group `Slmodemd' (GID 115) ... Adding new user `Slmodemd' (UID 105) with group `Slmodemd' ... Not creating home directory `/var/log/slmodemd'. Well, it turns out you just now created it. And is it really a "home" directory?
