Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.4.1.1-1 Severity: normal
Upon right-clicking an URL and selecting "Open Link", a new blank Iceweasel window gets opened, with the link not being passed in any way. On the same system, xfce-terminal does it correctly (ie, telling the existing session to open the link, actually handing it the URL), so did gnome-terminal until recently. I thus assume this is a regression in gnome-terminal rather than another part of the system. This seems to be different than #524473: there's no parsing error, no output in ~/.xsession-errors, and _something_ happens. In case this is related: the machine had mime-support from experimental installed (that version is supposed to get an exception into wheezy soon). I downgraded mime-support to 3.52-1, no improvement. Also, the next menu item, "Copy Link Address", doesn't appear to do anything anymore. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (150, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 armel Kernel: Linux 3.3.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii gconf-service 3.2.5-1 ii gnome-terminal-data 3.4.1.1-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.4.2-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libgconf-2-4 3.2.5-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.4.2-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libvte-2.90-9 1:0.32.2-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 Versions of packages gnome-terminal recommends: ii gvfs 1.12.3-1+b1 ii yelp 3.4.2-1 gnome-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
