Bug#560417: same error when using pygrub

I get the same error with both squeezy and wheezy

The machine in question is a domU.  I booth the domU using pygrub.  It
boots successfully.

However, the error comes up during package upgrades that impact the
kernel package.  apt-get fails during such operations because the
postinst fails.
