Package: spamassassin Version: 3.1.0a-1 Followup-For: Bug #333240
Further investigation reveals that this problem was related to my system not having libnet-ip-perl installed. This is neither required by spamassassin nor libnet-dns-perl, even though it is depended on by Net::DNS::Resolver. Perhaps reassign this as a bug to libnet-dns-perl? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers experimental APT policy: (1000, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages spamassassin depends on: ii libdigest-sha1-perl 2.10-1 NIST SHA-1 message digest algorith ii libhtml-parser-perl 3.45-3 A collection of modules that parse ii perl 5.8.7-5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages spamassassin recommends: ii libnet-dns-perl 0.53-1 Perform DNS queries from a Perl sc ii perl [libmime-base64-perl] 5.8.7-5 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii spamc 3.1.0a-1 Client for SpamAssassin spam filte -- debconf information: spamassassin/upgrade/2.40: spamassassin/upgrade/2.40w: spamassassin/upgrade/cancel: Continue spamassassin/upgrade/2.42m: No spamassassin/upgrade/2.42u: No -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
