Hi, thanks for your reply. I think you are right with your points. I didn't saw the old bugreport. Thanks for pointing me there. But may at least a note anywhere in the docs would be good to clearify, that dump-files are world-readable in an default environment and admins, who uses tcpdump, should keep that in mind and consider changing the umask or so.
