Package: kate Version: 4:4.8.4-1 Followup-For: Bug #680408 Dear Maintainer,
Trying to edit my website files which have long lines and tabs I find that the more indented the line is the further away from the right edge of the window kate's cursor stops. I tried changing my tabs to spaces and keep the indentation hierarchy. Only the distance changed, not the behaviour. Adding tabs, spaces or any indentation in any file format makes the cursor stop at that distance from the right edge. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages kate depends on: ii kate-data 4:4.8.4-1 ii katepart 4:4.8.4-1 ii kde-runtime 4:4.8.4-1 ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libkateinterfaces4 4:4.8.4-1 ii libkdecore5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkdeui5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkfile4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkio5 4:4.8.4-3 ii libknewstuff2-4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libknewstuff3-4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libkparts4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libktexteditor4 4:4.8.4-3 ii libplasma3 4:4.8.4-3 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-qt3support 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-sql 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2-1 ii libstdc++6 4.7.1-2 kate recommends no packages.
