Package: facter Version: 1.6.10-1 Severity: important facter is not longer able to detect a system running on Xen. This is a regression and will break setups that relies on this information.
/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/facter/virtual.rb tries to find files in /proc/xen. This directory is not populated by default in modern Linux kernels and is scheduled to go away pretty soon. The real way to detect Xen is checking /sys/hypervisor/type for content "xen".
