I've been running the 3.4.4-1~experimental.1 for more than a week without problems and when linux-image-3.2.0-3-amd64 (3.2.21-3) came out, I reverted to that one and so far (after another week), no GPU lock ups anymore. So, without looking at the detailed kernel logs, I think the problem simply disappeared (or was fixed by another Wheezy upgrade during that time).
