last July you reported software-center would not start on your system after an upgrade from Squeeze. Julian tagged the report unreproducible two weeks later. No wI stumbled over the report and tried. Both, software-center 2.0.7debian7 from squeeze and 5.1.2debian2 from testing/unstable start just fine in my unstable environment. Is there any chance it was a temporary issue on your system? Maybe some half-upgraded packages?
