Package: python-mode Version: 1:6.0.10-1 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/python-mode
I've still got emacs21 installed and with that python-mode package fails to install, Install python-mode for emacs21 install/python-mode: Handling install for emacsen flavor emacs21 While compiling toplevel forms in file /usr/share/emacs21/site-lisp/python-mode/python-mode.el: !! File error (("Cannot open load file" "flymake")) Done ERROR: install script from python-mode package failed dpkg: error processing python-mode (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 configured to not write apport reports Errors were encountered while processing: python-mode E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) flymake.el isn't included in emacs21. It'd be nice if /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/python-mode skipped emacs21 flavour the same as it skips emacs20. Or alternatively it looks like python-mode.el only optionally ties-in to flymake, so maybe it could use it if available and if not not. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-mode depends on: ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.7 ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.3+1-1.2 ii emacs23 [emacsen] 23.4+1-3 ii python 2.7.2-9 ii python2.7 2.7.2-9 ii xemacs21-mule [emacsen] 21.4.22-3.2 Versions of packages python-mode recommends: pn pychecker <none> ii pymacs 0.23-1.1 Versions of packages python-mode suggests: pn pylint <none> pn python-ropemacs <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
