I've just upgraded to 0.5, which indeed improves the speed a great deal. It's
still a little more sluggish than I'd like, but it is workable as it is.

Why are all settings stored in the session? Isn't that why I have a nice .conf
file, to store those? Or would loading the conffile everytime be even slower?
