Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: normal Dear Debian folks,
if the sent email and received email are *not* stored in the same folder, threading is broken, because the »Bug#nnnnnn: Info received:« messages only contain the message ID of the email replied to in the `References` header. Instead this should be the `In-Reply-To` header field and the `References` should copy the list from the message it replies to and add the Message-ID of the message replied to to it. Thanks, Paul -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.5.0-rc5+ (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
