Package: bind9 Version: 1:9.8.1.dfsg.P1-4.1 Followup-For: Bug #668952 confirmed the bug after upgrading a squeeze installation to wheezy.
the problem seems to be related to running bind9 in a chroot. running as-normal ("# named -u bind -g") works as expected, but running in chroot ("# named -u bind -g -t /usr/local/chroot/named") fails. the chroot worked with squeeze, and is somewhat minimal: CHROOT/dev CHROOT/dev/null CHROOT/dev/random CHROOT/var CHROOT/var/cache CHROOT/var/cache/bind CHROOT/var/cache/bind/bak.art CHROOT/var/run CHROOT/var/run/named CHROOT/var/log CHROOT/etc CHROOT/etc/localtime CHROOT/etc/bind/ (with the bind configuration duplicated into CHROOT/etc/bind/) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
