Package: php5-suhosin Version: 0.9.33-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I recently upgraded to PHP 5.4, and I noticed that Suhosin wasn't appearing listed in phpinfo(), get_loaded_extensions(), nor was I getting warnings about it anymore in phpMyAdmin. I noticed that the symlink to load suhosin was not in /etc/php5/conf.d as it should be. I added it with: ln -s ../mods-available/suhosin.ini 20-suhosin.ini Now PHP does attempt to load it, but it still is not loaded. My Apache logs show this: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php5/20100525/suhosin.so' - /usr/lib/php5/20100525/suhosin.so: undefined symbol: php_mb_gpc_encoding_detector in Unknown on line 0 PHP CLI prints the same on load. Suhosin may now be installed for 5.4, but PHP isn't actually loading it. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (700, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages php5-suhosin depends on: ii libapache2-mod-php5 [phpapi-2 5.4.4-2 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii libc6 2.13-34 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii php5-cgi [phpapi-20100525] 5.4.4-2 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php5-cli [phpapi-20100525] 5.4.4-2 command-line interpreter for the p php5-suhosin recommends no packages. php5-suhosin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
