Package: ldap-account-manager Version: 0.4.9-2 Severity: normal When installing ldap-account-manager, I forgot to include samba.schema in my slapd.conf. This caused the configuration wizard to fail without giving any error message. It would, after entering domain information, check if the samba domain groups were present and offer to add them. When pressing either create or ignore, it would return to the add domain screen, since adding the domain apparently did not work.
After some debugging, I realised I forgot the schema. Can't this be detected earlier and a proper error message be displayed? -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages ldap-account-manager depends on: ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.0.54-4 traditional model for Apache2 ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libapache2-mod-php4 4:4.3.10-16 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii perl 5.8.4-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii php4 4:4.3.10-15 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-ldap 4:4.3.10-16 LDAP module for php4 ii wwwconfig-common 0.0.43 Debian web auto configuration -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
