I've installed latest lxc from sid repos because testing/wheezy version (rc1.4) was not working for me. Then I've tried to create a debian container using lxc-create container-name -t debian. Failed to download base system failed to install system failed to execute template 'debian' aborted ------------- Apparently the problem is with the comments in the templates files /usr/share/lxc/templates/lxc-debconf.d/01-preseed-file.templates and /usr/share/lxc/templates/lxc-debconf.d/03-debconf.templates. I've manually edited both files and removed the top comment lines that start with '##' and tried again, then the container was built ok. I've also tried removing only one sharp character and also tried with '//'. Neither worked.
