Well, it _tries_ to sort them into alphabetical order.

 This is a package incorporating various small utilities:         
  * bogomips - Shows the current bogomips rating (v1.2).         
  *  fromdos - Converts DOS <-> Unix text files (v1.4).         
  *    lsdev - Displays DMA, IRQ, and I/O-port information (v1.5). 
  *  memtest - Tests system memory for errors from userspace (v2.93.1).        
  * procinfo - Displays system information from /proc (v18).

There, that looks a lot better.
